The answer

The attributes of Allah the Almighty are His characteristics, attributed to Him as a quality is attributed to its possessor, and they are not self-subsisting entities. As for entities attributed to Allah, their attribution is one of honor, such as the House of Allah (Bayt Allah) and the She-Camel of Allah (Naqat Allah), which is the attribution of a possession to its owner. As for attributes that do not subsist by themselves, such as Allah's knowledge and power, their attribution is that of a quality to the one described by it.
