Did Sunni scholars say that Allah is in the image of a beardless young man, and that He scurries, and has fingers and molars, and that He laughs and chatters? And did they say that prophethood did not cease after the Messenger, and that revelation descended upon Omar, and that there are people better than the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and did they say that the Quran has been distorted?

What has been mentioned is disavowed by anyone attributed to Sunnah (definition) and knowledge; rather, much of it is disbelief in the religion of Islam, such as the claim of the distortion of the Quran or the continuation of prophethood. This is a lie and a calumny against the scholars of the Sunnah. As for the attributes of Allah Almighty that have been mentioned, such as fingers and laughter, they are to be passed on as they came without interpretation, while believing in Allah's transcendence above resemblance to creation. And one must beware of accusing the scholars of the Sunnah and slandering them falsely.
