The answer

It is not appropriate to use names that imply glorification or aggrandizement, as Allah Almighty says: (So do not sanctify yourselves; He knows best who is righteous) [An-Najm: 32]. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade naming a boy Rabah (profit) or Najeh (successful), and naming a girl Barrah (pious), due to the self-sanctification involved therein. As for naming with "Ayah" (sign), there is no harm in it, because every human being is a sign from the signs of Allah. However, naming with "Iman" (faith), it appears that it is not free from the aforementioned prohibition.
