The answer

The People of the and the Community (Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah) believe that the believers will see their Lord in the Hereafter with their own eyes, and that Allah, the Almighty, is described with loftiness and above-ness, contrary to the Mu'tazilah who deny this. The People of the Sunnah emphasize that the vision of Allah necessitates direction and loftiness, citing the of vision which likens seeing Allah to seeing the moon, and this indicates His exaltedness.

As for what is attributed to Abu Hanifa regarding the denial of direction, it is incorrect, because the chain of narration of the book "Al-" in which this denial appeared is strung with unknown narrators (majahil), and its content contradicts what was reported from Abu Hanifa himself in "Al-Fiqh al-Absat" regarding the affirmation of Allah's loftiness and his declaration of apostasy for anyone who denies it. The imams, such as Malik, Al-Shafi'i, Ahmad, Al-Awza'i, Qutaybah, and Ibn Abd al-Barr, have all agreed that Allah is in the heavens upon His Throne.

In summary: It is obligatory to believe in Allah's loftiness and His establishment upon His Throne, and that the believers will see Him on the Day of Resurrection in Paradise with their own eyes, and He will be above them, because loftiness is an essential attribute of Allah Almighty.
