The answer

The supplication "O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, by Your mercy I seek aid, rectify all my affairs, and do not entrust me to my soul for the blink of an eye" was narrated in an authentic on the authority of Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, advised Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, to recite it when she woke up in the morning and when she reached the evening. This supplication includes seeking intercession with Allah through His names and attributes, acknowledging one's destitution before Him, asking for the rectification of one's condition, and not relying on oneself. It is one of the greatest supplications that demonstrates servitude to Allah, and it was narrated with a similar wording as a supplication for the distressed.
