The answer

Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Seal of all Prophets and Messengers, by the consensus of the Ummah and the texts of the Quran and . Allah Almighty says: "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Ali: "You are to me as Aaron was to Moses, except that there will be no prophet after me." A prophet is more general than a messenger, for every messenger is a prophet, but not every prophet is a messenger.
