Who are "Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah"?

Ahl al- wa al-Jama'ah are those who adhere to the Sunnah and gather upon it in matters of creed and rulings. They are called by this name because of their adherence to the Sunnah and their unity upon it. As for the people of innovation (Ahl al-Bid'ah), they differ in their methodologies, and this is proof of their distance from the Sunnah to the extent of the innovations they have introduced.
