Will there come a day upon the Arabs when they will not know who governs them, as one of the signs of the Hour?

The hadith (definition) of Abis Al-Ghifari, narrated as مرفوع (traced back to the Prophet), states: "Hasten to death when six things appear: the rule of the foolish, an increase in police, the sale of judgment, the trivialization of blood, the severing of kinship ties, and a generation that takes the Qur'an as musical instruments, presenting it to be sung, even if they are less knowledgeable in understanding it." This hadith includes an explanation of these matters: "the rule of the foolish" means their governance over people, due to their recklessness and violence, and a "foolish" person is one deficient in intellect. "An increase in police" means an abundance of rulers' assistants, which increases oppression. "The sale of judgment" means taking bribes for it. "The trivialization of blood" means not retaliating against a killer. If the questioner's intent is that the true state of rulers is not known, this is indicated by Hudhayfah's hadith concerning tribulations, which describes those who invite to the gates of Hell as being "from our own skin and speaking our own language," meaning they are from our people and our religion, but their inner selves are contrary, and their hearts are "the hearts of devils in human bodies."
