What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding children’s disposal of their father’s money when he is afflicted with Alzheimer’s, and is it permissible for the mother to dispose of his money without consulting those knowledgeable in religious matters, and is she considered responsible in the event of the father’s lack of awareness, and is it permissible to differentiate between males and females in gifts from the mother and father?

Neither the mother nor the brothers have the right to dispose of the father's property, as the money remains his possession as long as he is alive, and they are guarantors for whatever they dispose of without his permission. As for gifts, the preponderant opinion is that it is obligatory to equalize between children (males and females), unless one of them needs to be favored.
