The answer

The father is obligated to provide for the education of his indigent child if the education is necessary and indispensable. The expenditure should be commensurate with the child's needs. However, if the education is not necessary, or if the child is capable of bearing its expenses, the father must be fair among his children by giving the remaining children the equivalent of what he spent on the education of this child.
