Is it permissible to name a child "Abd Al-Rasheed" and "Abd Al-Shaheed"?

It is permissible to name a child 'Abd Al-Shahid (servant of the Witness) because Al-Shahid is one of the names of Allah the Almighty. However, if 'Al-Shahid' is intended to refer to other than Allah, then it is strictly forbidden. As for naming a child 'Abd Ar-Rashid (servant of the Guide), it is better to avoid it because it is not established that 'Ar-Rashid' is one of the names of Allah the Almighty. The hadith (definition) in which the Beautiful Names of Allah are mentioned, and which includes the name 'Ar-Rashid,' is weak. Scholars have strived to identify the Beautiful Names of Allah by inferring them from the Qur'an and Sunnah (definition).
