Should a person continue in a job where they are subjected to humiliation and verbal abuse, or should they leave it, relying upon God? And is leaving a job in this situation considered a denial of grace?

Affliction is a universal law, and patience through it elevates one's status and expiates sins, as stated in the Hadith (definition): "Calamity continues to befall the believing man and woman in their body, wealth, and children, until they meet Allah with no sin upon them." It is advisable to trust oneself, not to respond to provocations, to follow prescriptions for treating psychological anxiety, and to seek psychological counseling. If another job with a better environment becomes available, you should transfer to it; otherwise, it is better to continue unless it results in harm to your health or dignity.
