The answer

Prayer is the pillar of faith and the key to all good. It is not permissible to assume that it is a cause of academic delay. Rather, one must take the necessary means, study diligently, and pray for success. Allah may test a servant when they embark on the path of obedience to distinguish the believer from the hypocrite, so one must be patient and strive. Whoever advises abandoning prayer has exposed themselves to ruin and loss in both worlds. If a person is afflicted with a tribulation, they should increase their prayers, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would hasten to prayer when he was distressed by an matter.
