It is not obligatory to separate from the wife. What is obligatory for both spouses is to repent from adultery by abstaining from it, regretting it, resolving not to return to it, and concealing it. It should be noted that negligence in prayer is a grave evil, as prayer is the greatest matter in religion after faith.
