What is the ruling on the whispers of invalidating the prayer that necessitate repeating it, and how can prayer be performed correctly? What is the ruling on adding supplications such as "O Allah, forgive me" in the bowing (ruku') and "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the Dajjal..." before the salutation (taslim), and would the prayer thereby be considered invalid? And how are all prayers performed, especially the Witr prayer?

The questioner should reject obsessive thoughts and pay no attention to them, for they are among Satan's tricks to deprive one of the sweetness of faith and the pleasure of worship. It is advisable to turn away from them, recite the Quran frequently, and engage in much remembrance of Allah, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Satan places his snout on the heart of the son of Adam. If he remembers Allah, Satan withdraws, and if he forgets, Satan devours his heart. That is the receding whisperer."

As for what is heard, not every statement is correct, and no statement is given consideration unless it has a basis in the Qur'an, Sunnah (definition), or the consensus of Muslims. For a prayer to be valid, one must read and apply the description of the Prophet's prayer, peace and blessings be upon him, for he said: "Pray as you have seen me pray."
