Is wearing a watch on the left hand an imitation of infidels?

It is permissible to wear a watch on either the right or left hand. It is similar to a ring, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wore a ring on the little finger of his left hand and on his right hand. Wearing a watch on the left hand does not constitute imitation of disbelievers, as it is not exclusive to them.
