Does the prohibition of sleeping on exposed rooftops include beds?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade sleeping on an unguarded rooftop, but this prohibition does not apply to sleeping on an elevated bed. Indeed, beds were known during his time (peace be upon him), and he slept on one, as has been authentically reported in sound hadiths.
