Animated cartoons negatively affect children's faith and behavior, which necessitates media practitioners' attention to children's morals. To counter this, parents are advised to raise their children on the Holy Quran and the love of the Prophet and his companions, to teach them creeds in a simplified manner, and to instill in them the principle of enjoining good and forbidding evil. Alternatives to corrupting cartoons can be found by producing Islamic programs free of evils, or by choosing useful educational cultural programs, or by engaging children in sports and healthy activities, or by directing them to watch Islamic websites designated for children. These alternatives must conform to Islamic regulations and aim to instill Islamic beliefs and strengthen children's self-immunity, while connecting them to the biography of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his companions, to be their role models.
