Are we sinning by holding an Islamic wedding ceremony attended by women wearing semi-naked clothes?

An Islamic wedding ceremony is one that adheres to the Sharia (definition), meaning it does not include musical instruments other than the duff (hand drum), nor mixing between men and women, nor reprehensible acts such as photography, indecent dancing, debased songs, or immodest attire. It must include regulated entertainment and joy that is not excessive, and happiness that does not contradict ethics. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged entertainment at weddings with the duff and singing. If there is concern about some women attending in inappropriate attire, a note can be added to the invitation emphasizing the necessity of modest dress, or some sensible female guests can be spoken to to spread this message. If a woman does attend in inappropriate attire, she should be offered advice and guidance.
