The answer

It is not permissible to attend an invitation that includes cinematic presentations, as these often contain objectionable elements such as music and the immodest display of women, regardless of whether the company has illicitly taken people's money or not. If we assume the presentation and invitation are free from objectionable elements, but the company is illicitly taking people's money while its activity is permissible, then the ruling on accepting such an invitation is the same as accepting an invitation from someone whose wealth is mixed (halaal and haraam), and it is better not to accept. The jurists agree that it is not obligatory to accept an invitation from someone whose wealth is predominantly haraam, and it is disliked to accept it. Some of them hold that the dislike is strengthened or weakened depending on the abundance or scarcity of the haraam wealth.
