Is using a program to create 3D models as a hobby considered a waste of time, or following one's whims, or does it fall under the Almighty's saying, "And do not walk upon the earth exultantly"?

It is permissible to use entertainment programs as a hobby if the Shariah controls are observed. These are: that they are free of music, that they do not distract one from an obligation or a duty, and that they are not used excessively, so that they remain a means of recreation for the soul and not a waste of time. Otherwise, it would be forbidden idle amusement. The Quranic verses that prohibit walking on earth with exultation do not include this act, as long as it is free from arrogance and pride.
