The question

Is watching a music video, series, or musical program unlawful (haram)? And does the viewer bear the same sin as the perpetrator of the iniquity, or is he merely sinful? And does watching a film that insults religion make the viewer an infidel merely by watching it?

The answer

The prohibits watching movies, TV series, and entertainment and music programs that contain sinful acts, because watching them is an endorsement of their perpetrators' falsehood. And one who is pleased with a sin is like its doer. So, if one attends a gathering where Allah is disobeyed, it is obligatory for him to condemn it or leave the place; otherwise, he becomes a partner in sin. If watching involves kufr (disbelief), such as insulting religion or belittling its rulings, and the viewer is pleased with that, he may commit kufr. Otherwise, he incurs sin by remaining in a place of abomination if he does not leave it while being able to do so.
