What are the means that help distance a brother from listening to songs, and are there any jurisprudential opinions that permit that?

It is permissible to listen to songs that do not contain anything forbidden. However, that which includes music is forbidden according to the preponderant opinion, and the sound and explicit proofs refute the claim of its permissibility. A person can be deterred from listening to forbidden things by explaining the Sharia (definition) ruling to them, warning them of its consequences, encouraging them to engage with the Quran and listen to reciters, limiting themselves to anasheed (Islamic vocal music) free of musical instruments, connecting them with righteous company, keeping them away from bad companions, along with frequent supplication for their guidance.
