Games accompanied by music are not permissible, due to Islam's prohibition of music and musical instruments. In al-Bukhari, it is narrated from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There will be among my Ummah people who will consider unlawful sexual intercourse, silk, wine, and musical instruments as lawful."
