Cartoon games are permissible if they promote virtues and Islamic manners, and are free from prohibitions such as music and vulgar images. The majority of scholars have made an exception to the prohibition of drawing and statues for children, for the purpose of their education and entertainment. This is supported by the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) permission for Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to play with dolls. As for adults, they should avoid these games due to the religious prohibitions they entail.
