The answer

Listening to disbelief (kufr) is not considered disbelief unless the listener affirms it or is pleased with it. Similarly, silence concerning disbelief does not result in disbelief unless it is accompanied by pleasure or acceptance of it. If a person acquires money from an act of disbelief and obtains an academic degree in a permissible field through it, it is not unlawful for him to work with this degree; rather, he must repent and seek forgiveness.
