Is it permissible to rinse the mouth, raise the forefinger, and utter the two testimonies immediately after ablution?

The prescribed rinsing of the mouth (madmadah) in ablution (wudu') should be done before washing the face. It is permissible for someone who forgot it to perform it after completing their ablution. As for raising the index finger when supplicating (du'a) after ablution, there is no evidence for its Sunnah (definition) (recommended practice). The Sunnah is to recite the Shahada and the narrated supplications, such as: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger. O Allah, make me among those who repent and make me among those who purify themselves," and "Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You alone, without any partner. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You." As for raising one's gaze to the sky when uttering the aforementioned remembrances (adhkar), its recommendation is based on a weak hadith (definition).
