Some of the Salaf, among them Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, feared this and similar ones. However, he did not cease narrating hadith; rather, he was the Companion who narrated the most hadith. The hadith benefited him by making him constantly monitor his intention and scrutinize his sincerity. Therefore, what is required of a servant is to always monitor his intention, not to refrain from disseminating knowledge, for its dissemination with sincerity is a great act of worship and a mercy by which every believer takes refuge.
