The question

Is it permissible for a university student who wears an abaya and niqab to distribute religious booklets to her female colleagues, such as "She is a Queen" by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Arifi, and other booklets about plucking eyebrows (an-nams) and abandoning prayer, in order to raise their awareness about matters concerning women whose impermissibility they might be unaware of or take lightly?

The answer

May Allah reward you for your eagerness to call to Allah and enjoin good and forbid evil. This is a blessed righteous deed for which we hope Allah will reward you. We advise you to seek Allah's help and strive to achieve sincerity, and to beware of acts that spoil deeds, such as showing off (riya') and self-admiration (ujb). Be sure to also act with gentleness and wisdom when inviting students (to Islam), consider priorities and the situation of those being invited, and vary your methods of dawah.
