Is it permissible to participate in an exhibition held in an open-air place during summer, where there is much temptation and mixing, despite the presence of a tent for da‘wah (inviting others to Islam) within it?

Participation in exhibitions that may involve mixing depends on weighing the benefits against the harms. If the benefit of inviting people to Islam outweighs the harms, and the person is confident in their steadfastness and not being affected by temptations, then participation is permissible, provided that the participant does not seclude himself with women. However, if the harms and temptations outweigh the benefits, or if the person fears being affected, then participation is not permissible, and they should seek other safer means of da'wah (inviting to Islam). Those participating in such environments must fear Allah and not be lenient in their dealings with women or corrupt individuals, and they must be a good example.
