The answer

Allah distinguished His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the most beautiful and perfect qualities, outwardly and inwardly. He said of himself: "I was sent to perfect noble morals." And Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said about his character: "His character was the Quran," meaning that he adhered to every good moral commanded by the Quran and avoided every bad moral forbidden by it. Among the books that can be referred to for learning about his conduct and his concern for beauty are: Ash-Shama'il by At-Tirmidhi, Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah by Ibn Kathir, Zad al-Ma'ad by Ibn al-Qayyim, As-Sirah an-Nabawiyyah by Ibn Hisham, and Sifat as-Safwah by Ibn al-Jawzi. His concern for cleanliness stems from Islam's call for it, and his saying: "Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty." "Peace be upon him" should be written in full.
