Are shoes made in China ritually impure?

If shoes are made from animal leather and imported from a country where most of its people are non-Muslims and not People of the Book, then they are presumed to be made from the hide of an animal that died naturally (maytah (definition)). The preponderant opinion is that the hide of a maytah becomes pure through tanning, absolutely, even if it is pigskin. Based on this, the aforementioned shoes are pure according to the preponderant opinion.
