Do the Imam and the congregants raise their hands and say the extra takbeers aloud in the Eid and Janazah prayers?

Scholars have reached a consensus on the permissibility of raising the hands during the first takbir in the Eid prayers and the funeral prayer. However, they differed on raising them during the subsequent takbirat. The majority (Shafi’is, Hanbalis, and Hanafis) hold that it is recommended in the two Eid prayers, and for the Shafi’is and Hanbalis in the funeral prayer. The Malikis and Hanafis disagreed concerning the funeral prayer, and the Malikis concerning the Eid prayers, as they believe that hands should only be raised during the first takbir. The most preponderant view is that one has the choice between raising and not raising the hands due to the strength of the evidence presented by both groups. This issue is among those where it is recommended to consider the differing opinions, as there is no authentic marfu' hadith (definition) that strengthens one opinion over the other. Loudly pronouncing the takbir is recommended for the Imam, but not for the followers.
