Did Fatimah al-Zahra – may Allah be pleased with her – menstruate, and what is the extent of the authenticity of the hadith: "I named my daughter Fatimah because Allah has weaned her and those who loved her from the Hellfire"?

Fatima, may Allah be pleased with her, is among the women of Paradise and the chief of the women of Paradise, except for Maryam bint Imran. However, the statement that she did not menstruate and the hadith (definition): "I named my daughter Fatima..." are not sound; they are fabricated hadiths. Fatima, like other women, used to menstruate and become pure, and this does not نقصها (diminish her). The Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, said to Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, when she menstruated: "This is a matter Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam."
