The answer

Allah created the jinn for His worship, and they are held accountable just like humans. So, whoever obeys will enter Paradise—according to the most prevalent opinion—and whoever disobeys will enter Hellfire, by consensus. The Shari'ah does not contain details about how the jinn perform their prayers, but they are commanded to observe the fundamental and ancillary matters in a way that suits them. The possession of a human by a jinn is established and supported by reality, and its causes are numerous, including love, or the jinn's hatred of humans due to harm inflicted upon them, or mischief. It is known that one who adheres to the remembrance of Allah will not be afflicted by this, except what Allah wills.
