The question

Does a husband's statement to his wife, "Will I let you enter Paradise?" fall under the hadith which indicates that a husband's satisfaction with his wife is a cause for her entering Paradise, especially given that the wife did not disobey him but rather expressed a correct opinion?

The answer

A wife's obedience to her husband is one of the reasons for entering Paradise. However, entering Paradise does not depend on the husband's approval or permission, because the matter of Paradise and Hell is solely in the hand of Allah. It is not permissible to condemn any person from the Ahl al-Qiblah (Muslims) to Hellfire, even if they die persisting in sins, for Allah may encompass them with His mercy, or forgive them through intercession or expiating good deeds, or He may punish them and then admit them into Paradise. The wife must observe gentleness, leniency, and balance between benefits and harms when advising her husband.
