The answer

The correct and authentically established of the Prophet states that a believer in Paradise will have two wives. There are other hadiths that mention a larger number of wives, but these are either not explicit or not authentic.

Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that a believer will have more than two wives in Paradise, citing the of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari about the pearl tent in Paradise, in which the believer will have companions (ahlūn).

Scholars have differed on determining the number of women for a Muslim in Paradise:

First opinion: He will have two wives from the women of this world, and in addition to that, he will have Houris (houris of Paradise) according to his deeds, without a specific number. Some scholars have mentioned that two wives are the minimum, and there will be an increase in number. Others, however, rejected an increase in wives from this world and limited the increase to concubines from the Houris.

Second opinion: He will have two wives from the women of this world, and seventy Houris as a minimum, with no upper limit.

Third opinion: He will have at least two Houris, and he will have more than that according to each individual.

In conclusion: No authentic hadith has been reported that specifies the number of Houris for a believer in Paradise. Scholars agree that he will have a minimum of two wives, but they differ on whether these will be Houris or women from this world.
