The answer

There is no grave of a prophet whose location is definitively agreed upon except for the grave of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and the grave of Abraham, peace be upon him, in the city of Hebron. As for the grave of the Prophet Jonah, peace be upon him, its precise location is unknown. Visiting graves is permissible according to Shar'i regulations, and greeting their inhabitants is done by saying: "Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of these dwellings, from among the believers and Muslims, and verily, Allah willing, we shall join you. I ask Allah for well-being for us and for you." Journeys are not undertaken specifically to visit graves. Rather, visits are for those already in the locality without intending travel solely for that purpose.
