The answer

If a Muslim is unable to visit graves except on Friday due to work, there is no harm in that, because he does not single out this day for any special virtue, but rather comes on it because it is his day off. Sheikh Ibn Jibreen was asked about singling out Friday for visiting graves and he answered that it does not fall under innovations if the intention is not to single it out, but rather because it is a time of leisure. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen mentioned that singling out Friday for fasting is disliked unless a person cannot make up his fast except on that day, in which case it is not disliked.
