The answer

Delaying the funeral contradicts the Prophet's (peace be upon him) command to hasten it. It is not permissible to delay the deceased except for a legitimate, recognized interest. The (ritual washing) performed for the deceased is sufficient. Ghusl is not repeated even if something exits the body after the washing; rather, only the impurity is washed from his body and shroud, because the obligation (takleef) ceases with death.
