Is Saddam Hussein considered a martyr from a Sharia perspective after his execution?

Whoever utters the two declarations of faith (Shahadatayn) is judged outwardly as a Muslim, and the rulings of Muslims apply to him, such as washing, shrouding, praying over him, and burial in Muslim cemeteries. This is based on the Hadith (definition) of Usama ibn Zayd. However, he is not to be judged as a martyr. A martyr is one who is killed while striving in the way of Allah, and he is not guaranteed to attain the reward of martyrdom; rather, it is only hoped for him.
