ما معنى "خمسة وخميسة" المستخدمة لإبعاد الحسد؟

"Khumaisah" is the diminutive of "khamsah" (five). It is a palm with five fingers made of different materials. Some claim it attracts the eye of the envious person to ward off their harm, or it is intended to represent Surat Al-Falaq.

The ruling on its use is determined by belief: - If one believes it repels harm without Allah or along with Allah, then it is major shirk (polytheism). - If one believes it is a means and Allah is the One Who benefits and harms, then this is a lie against the Shari'ah and divine decree, and a pretext for shirk, making it minor shirk.
