Is disseminating Islamic thought, specifically to the People of the Book, forbidden or permissible?
Islam is the only true religion acceptable to Allah Almighty. Every other religion is false and rejected, as Allah Almighty states: "Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam," and "And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him." Islam has abrogated all previous religions, and Allah Almighty commanded the messengers to follow and support Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Jews, Christians, and other disbelievers must be invited to Islam, as they have associated partners with Allah and distorted their scriptures. Salvation in the hereafter and winning Paradise are the ultimate goals, and to achieve them, people must be brought out of darkness into light through Islam. It is not permissible to be lenient with falsehood under the pretext of equality or tolerance, as this exposes people to temptation and destruction, and contradicts the principle of enjoining good and forbidding evil, which is one of the rituals of Islam.
