Is it obligatory to advise a brother whose practice of homosexuality is discovered and to warn him of the consequences of his action?

Homosexuality is one of the most heinous abominations; it corrupts its perpetrator and strips him of his modesty. Allah destroyed the village of the people of Lot because of it. You must inform your brother about the shame of this abomination and its religious and worldly corruption, warn him of its consequences, close off every path that facilitates this abomination for him, and keep him away from places that encourage it. If he is under your guardianship, prevent him by every possible means, for you are responsible for him. If you do not have authority over him, then it is your duty to strive to remove this evil, prevent its perpetrator, and advise him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he is unable, then with his tongue; if he is unable, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith." The apparent indicators on your brother, such as his clothing and manner of speech, which suggest imitating women, are abominations and a path to depravities. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed effeminate men, meaning those who deliberately adopt the manners, movements, and dress of women.
