Safety from temptation in such cases is rare, especially with an unveiled Christian woman. Haram (unlawful) is not limited to committing indecency; rather, it includes looking, touching, and enjoying listening, which is a form of Zina (fornication/adultery). Therefore, this relationship must be severed immediately.
