Marriage is a destined provision from Allah, and everyone will receive what has been decreed for them. The fundamental principle for a woman is to remain in her home and not go out unless there is a necessity. She is not commanded to go out so that men may see her and propose to her. Therefore, her not going out may not be the reason for the delay in her marriage, and going out may not bring her suitors. There is no sin upon her if she does not exert efforts to seek marriage, but it is permissible for her to search for righteous men to marry, while observing the Sharia (definition)-compliant regulations.
