The answer

The Holy Quran has many names, exceeding ninety, the most famous of which are: Al-Quran, Al-Furqan, Al-Dhikr, and Al-Kitab. Each of these names is mentioned in Quranic verses. For instance, Al-Quran is found in His, the Almighty's, saying: {Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most upright} [Al-Isra: 9]. Al-Furqan is found in His, the Almighty's, saying: {Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His servant} [Al-Furqan: 1]. Al-Dhikr is found in His, the Almighty's, saying: {And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them} [An-Nahl: 44]. And Al-Kitab is found in His, the Almighty's, saying: {This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah} [Al-Baqarah: 2].
