What is the ruling on decorating homes from the inside to celebrate the pilgrim's return after performing the Hajj pilgrimage?

There is no harm in that, as long as it does not involve affectation, or become a habit, or is believed to be an act of worship. It is worth noting that this was not the custom of the early predecessors.
