Is the repentance of one who sins and repeatedly returns to sin accepted, even if they consistently perform acts of worship?

Repentance is obligatory for a Muslim for all sins. Allah the Almighty commanded it in His saying: "And turn to Allah all of you, O believers, that you may succeed," and His saying: "And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to repent one hundred times a day. Persistence in a minor sin makes it a major sin, as Ibn Abbas said: "There is no minor sin with persistence, and no major sin with seeking forgiveness." Among the signs of accepted repentance is steadfastness in Allah's religion. It is necessary to constantly adhere to repentance and seeking forgiveness after every sin, along with regret and a firm resolve not to return to it.
