What is the ruling of the Sharia on the marriage of a man aged 48 to a girl not exceeding 12 years of age, and then to another girl aged 14, while he claims that this is "a cover for them," but his wives accuse him of doing so to satisfy his "animalistic desires," coupled with his failure to have intercourse with his first two wives and his injustice in allocating nights among his wives, and do the wives have the right to object and be jealous of him even though he does not mistreat them?

A man marrying another woman in addition to his wife is not in itself an injustice to her. It is permissible for a woman to stipulate in the marriage contract that her husband not take another wife. There is no sin upon a man for marrying more than one woman, but he must be just among them in their rights and in providing lodging. Justice in sexual intercourse is not obligatory. A woman's jealousy due to her husband marrying another is permissible, so long as it does not lead to violating Islamic law, injustice, or aggression. Killing the husband is a grave error and is inspired by devils. The wife must fear Allah and live with her husband honorably. If there is a shortcoming on his part, she should advise him with gentleness, wisdom, and patience.
